Je m’intéresse à la compréhension des stratégies virales visant à protéger leur génome et leurs ARNs par l’assemblage macromoléculaire de complexes de réplication virale. En particulier, je m’intéresse à la compréhension du mécanisme d’assemblage des nucléoprotéines d’Arenaviridae, de Bunyavirales et Nidovirales, à la réponse à l’immunité innée et à la reconstitution des mécanismes de formation de la coiffe. À cette fin, j’utilise la caractérisation biophysique et biochimique. Enfin, je développe en synergie avec le groupe de chimie des stratégies pour inhiber les activités Nucléases de ces familles.
