As the result of a collaboration with Bruno Canard’s group within the AFMB laboratory, we have developped MeDor, a metaserver for the prediction of protein disorder [1]. This server considerably speeds up the sequence analysis process, as it enables simultaneous analysis of a query sequence by several disorder predictors. This program provides a graphical output (see Figure 8 for an example) that can be annotated, saved, printed and used for publication purposes. The program is freely available at http://www.vazymolo.org/MeDor/index.html. In addition, we are currently working on the experimental assessment and validation of various consensus disorder predictions. These latter are generated by MeDor and are based on various calculation/weighting methods.
