Marta P\u00e9rez Illana is a postdoc working on a collaboration research at Margarida Archer (ITQB NOVA, Portugal) and Roberto Lins (Fiocruz Pernambuco, Brazil) groups in the project \u201cComputational design and 3D structure of peptides neutralizing arboviruses: battling Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya\u201d. Their main goal is to design, synthesize and characterize the stability and neutralization potential of novel synthetic engineered proteins with mimicking\/improved antibody-like functions, and elucidate their 3D structures in complex with their targets (isolated viral proteins or whole viral particles) by X-ray and cryo-EM, to provide high resolution data on \u00a0the molecular \u00a0interactions at the interfaces.
