PCML offers its expertise and know-how at various levels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"screening-inhibitors-of-proteins-and-viral-enzymes\">Screening inhibitors of proteins and viral enzymes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As specialists in the Coronavirus and Orthoflavivirus families, we have access to a wide range of enzymes (7 coronavirus nsps and 18 NS5, 15 RdRps, 6 MTases from Orthoflavivirus ). Thanks to this enzyme library, we are able to identify and characterise the mode of action of inhibitors targeting replication complexes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Screening using viral enzymes and biochemical characterization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inhibitor screening of protein-protein or protein-ligand interactions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Low-scale high-throughput screening of biochemical assays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"chemical-library\">Chemical library<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From library available at AFMB<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From diversity-oriented library<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SAR studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"development-of-new-technologies\">Development of new technologies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Small-scale assays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluorescence assays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other assays (e.g., HTRF)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development and characterisation of tools for structural approaches (VHHs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>PCML also offers the possibility to screen for compounds likely to inhibit the catalytic activity of a specific enzyme or to screen for other compounds using our enzyme catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PCML is a partner of the multi-site Marseille Screening Center (MaSC) facility (<a href=\"https:\/\/masc.univ-amu.fr\/\">https:\/\/masc.univ-amu.fr\/<\/a> ; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibisa.net\/plateformes\/marseille-screening-center-masc-709.html\">https:\/\/www.ibisa.net\/plateformes\/marseille-screening-center-masc-709.html<\/a>), labelled by IBISA in 2022 and Aix-Marseille technological platform in 2023. This collaborative network was launched in 2005 and consists of PCML, the viral screening facility of Marseille-Timone (PCVMT, resp. Franck Touret) and the High throughput Screening facility from CRCM (HiTS, resp. Xavier Morelli).
